A True Friend

A true friend is hard
to come by.

A true friend is very rare,
one who would not dare to share
what you have whispered in
their ear.

A true friend will be with you,
even after you’ve both
had a dispute.

A true friend would take
the time to rewind, find the problem
and then regroup.

A true friend will tell you,
when you’re right and
when you’re wrong.

A true friend will admit
their faults as well.

But most importantly a True Friend
will be just that, and
the friendship you have
they will not borrow, trade,
nor sell.
